Oh ... for the Love of the Outdoor Shower

Oh for the love of getting naked and stepping into an outdoor shower.  There’s something primal and sexy about shedding your clothes outside and it’s made all that more fun in a tropical Key West garden shower. The sensual feeling of a light tropical breeze on the skin combined with a luxurious soft warm shower on the body is relaxing for the mind and healing for the soul.  Key West outdoor showers bring you right into nature in your natural state with palm fronds rustling, wafting scents of tropical flowers like jasmine and gardenia, and orchids in bloom.

Some outdoor showers are enclosed on the sides and open only to the sky like the one pictured here at the Pavilion Villa vacation rental.  Others are just a shower head in the garden, but usually placed in a corner where you can shed your clothes with some privacy. So refreshing and renewing is the experience, we’ve had some of our guests tell us that after discovering an outdoor shower in a Key West vacation rental house, they return home and build one for themselves at their own house.
